Deputy Director of Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department
The City of Rialto Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department is looking for a dynamic Deputy Director to bring fun, creativity, and strong leadership to our community.

The ideal candidate will possess Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position. A typical combination includes:
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in parks and recreation administration, park and recreation project management, or park maintenance and design. At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
EDUCATION:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Public Administration, Business
Administration, Park and Recreation Administration, or a related field.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Expertise in parks and recreation management, with a strong understanding of community service programming and maintenance.
Knowledge of project management techniques, budgeting practices, and personnel management. Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to parks and recreation services. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex problems, identify solutions, and implement strategies.
