Parks and Recreation Coordinator
The City of Temple City is seeking a Parks and Recreation Coordinator to oversee and coordinate assigned recreation programs, activities, and operations within the Parks & Recreation Department. This position will plan and organize special events, develop and evaluate recreation programs, supervise part-time staff and volunteers, and ensure adherence to City policies and procedures. The Parks and Recreation Coordinator will also provide support in budget administration, facility management, marketing, and community engagement for a variety of recreation programs.
Education and Experience:
Education equivalent to the completion of high school supplemented by two years of college courses in recreation or a related field. Four years of experience in community and/or youth recreation or a comparable setting is required.
Other Qualifications:
Possession of a valid Class C motor vehicle operator’s license issued by the State of California.
