Water Fitness Instructor (regular or substitute position)

Job Summary:

• Plan and organize curriculum for aquatic group exercise classes
• Instruct class for all registered participants, adapting to the needs of various abilities within the class
• Maintain safety of all students
• Help promote class or program to achieve desired attendance
• Prepare, inspect, and safely store all instructional equipment before and after each lesson to ensure readiness and proper use

Minimum Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old or complete high school
• Possess and maintain CPR with AED certification
• Possess and maintain Aquatic fitness certification through nationally recognized organization (AEA, ASFA, AFAA, ASCA, ARC, YMCA, etc.)
• At least one year of experience teaching an aquatic group exercise class. 

Hourly rate starting at $25/hr with annual raises up to $38/hr
