Management Analyst II
The City of Tracy’s Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is seeking a motivated and qualified professional to join our team as a Management Analyst II! We are looking for an individual with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups across the community.
The ideal candidate will bring experience in capital improvement projects, program management, budgeting, accounting, and contract management, and will be comfortable collaborating with developers, engineers, planners, and other technical professionals to support and advance municipal projects that enhance our community.
This position receives general supervision from assigned supervisory or management staff and provides oversight to technical or administrative support staff.
This role also offers the opportunity to support exciting initiatives such as the Tracy Recreation Activity Center (TRAC) and other parks planning and development projects that will help shape the future of Tracy’s recreational spaces.
Currently there is one (1) vacant position in the Parks Department. The Management Analyst II employment list may be used to fill other vacant MA II positions elsewhere in the City.
Education and Experience:
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or a closely related field. our (4) years of experience performing duties related to administrative and analytical analysis and staff support at a level equivalent to the City’s class of Management Analyst I, two (2) years of which must have been in a municipal or public sector setting.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid Class C California driver’s license upon appointment.
- May be required to complete National Incident Management System (NIMS) Training.
