Senior Recreation Leader
The City of Temple City is recruiting for a Senior Recreation Leader to assist in overseeing and coordinating recreation activities and operations within the assigned Recreation Division. This role involves planning and organizing special events related to specific recreation programs, supporting the supervision and management of part-time staff, temporary seasonal employees, and volunteers, and ensuring high-quality recreation services and activities.
Candidates should possess strong leadership and organizational skills, the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of staff and community members, and knowledge of recreation program development and implementation.
Qualified candidates should have a combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and abilities. A high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by at least one year of experience in youth and/or community recreation or a similar setting, is required. One year of college coursework can substitute for one year of experience.
