in the role of Recreation Coordinator I or II (Sports)
Come join the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department in the role of Sports Coordinator. The City of Roseville is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Recreation Coordinator to join our Sports Section to assist with the day-to-day operations of the new Placer Valley Soccer Complex as well as other sports programming and facility coordination. In this role, some of your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with the day-to-day operations and leadership of the Placer Valley Soccer Complex.
- Facilitating field rental permits and allocation processes for sports organizations.
- Coordinating adult and/or youth sports leagues and tournaments and much, much more.
We are looking for someone who is experienced in leading staff to successfully operate athletic facilities and programs. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, organizational and problem-solving skills, have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, and is available evening and weekend hours. Placer Valley Soccer Complex - Roseville, CA

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
RECREATION COORDINATOR I
Experience:
One year of professional experience in recreation program development and implementation desirable.
AND
Training:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
License or Certificate
Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid and CPR Certifications as issued by the American Red Cross within 6 months of hire.
RECREATION COORDINATOR II
In addition to the qualifications for the Recreation Coordinator I:
Experience:
Two years of professional experience performing duties similar to that of a Recreation Coordinator I with the City of Roseville.
AND
Training:
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university,
License or Certificate
Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
Possession of, or ability to obtain, First Aid and CPR Certifications as issued by the American Red Cross within 6 months of hire.
